Pai-Gow Poker
Pai-Gow means literally "Tiles Nine" in English. The object of the game is to have a 2-card hand and a 5-card hand of higher rank than the designated Dealer's 2-card hand and 5-card hand.
Pai-Gow is played with one 52-card deck and a Joker. The Joker can only be used as the following:
- As an Ace
- As any Picture Card (King, Queen, Jack)
- As any number in a Straight
- As any number in a Straight Flush
- As an Ace in a Flush (Same Suit)
Bets must be made in accordance with the minimum and maximum limits. Three dice are thrown and the sum of the total numbers shows the position of the first hand dealt. The cards will be dealt one at a time until the seven cards are dealt for each box. The sequence for dealing shall be from left to right, 1 to 7, then right to left and so until all seven hands are dealt and four cards are left remaining. Each player, using the seven cards received forms a 5-card hand called the High Hand or "H" and a 2-card hand called the Low Hand or "L". The high hand must be equal to or higher in rank than the low hand. The dealer is the bank for all deals.
In order to win, the player's two hands must both have a higher rank than bank's two hands. Winning bets are paid even money, less 5% commission. The commission is calculated on multiples of 100.
